Introducing colour in lampshades.
A brand new idea from Little Peg Lamps.
Katie Dixon, the founder of little Peg Lamps has created the perfect solution for insomnia. A bedside lampshade you can while away those sleep deprived hours colouring in! Katie makes completely unique, hand sewn lampshades and this is her latest inspired creation.
I have thoroughly enjoyed creating my ‘colour in’ shade collection and I hope that you will relish and release your creative side by colouring in your own ‘colour in’ lampshade too.
A Little Peg Lamps hand stitched lampshade comes equipped with six colouring pens to get you going. A perfect gift or Christmas idea to keep the little ones quiet for a bit, colour me in lampshades are great for all ages to get the creative juices flowing.
Colour me In shade includes:
An 8″ traditional double scalloped frame with a hand stitched skin.
Height: 9″
8″ Wide base Reversible gimbal – suitable for most table lamps and ceiling pendant fittings. Larger sizes and different frame shapes are available.
‘Colour in’ black and white fabric in a Paisley design.
6 fabric markers including, purple, red, yellow, green, blue and black.
All shades are made to order and can take up to 6 weeks during busy periods. Fire retardant treated but must still be used with only LED bulbs or those not hot to the touch. This is an added safety precaution.
You may want to iron your shade once coloured in, to preserve the colour and help to ‘seal it’ Although in my experience this hasn’t been necessary. Just don’t get it wet!
