How to upgrade your bedside part 2: Create a clean, serene scene

An aqua inspired palette of blues, greys and whites will give your boudoir a tranquil atmosphere; perfect for when you want to really unwind. I’ve used the Dannells Lantern Making Kit to make soft, twinkly lanterns to produce a soothing spa-like feel in this serene space.

The look is loose and fluid here, bedding is crumpled, cushions are lightly scattered and everything is paired back into a clean, calming scheme. I’ve chosen to decorate the lanterns with a classic Shibori/tie-die fabric and a very simple aqua on white water-drop design to further emphasis the spa theme.
