Plain Fabric Ranges

Woven specifically for lampshade making, our Chic Fabric Range offers you the opportunity to work with the lampshade industry’s most popular and fundamental textile. Made from 65% polyester and 35% cotton composite and weighing 110gsm, this fabric has a smooth finish and ensures a crisp professional edge to your handmade lampshade, and with 34 colours to choose from, we guarantee there'll be one to suit your colour scheme.





Alternatively, our Cordoba Plain Cotton, in 13 vibrant colours, is 100% cotton, with slightly textured look and feel. Heavier than our Chic Fabric at 150 gsm, this offers the equally excellent professional results when making hard or soft lampshades.

 




Velvet Fabric Ranges

Our exquisite velvet fabric ranges exude luxury at first glance. Sumptuously soft and visually striking, these opulent fabrics come in both rich solid colours and captivating prints, making them ideal for crafting handmade lampshades in various shapes and sizes.

 

Choose a plain velvet from our Supreme Velvet Range, featuring five luxurious jewel tones, opt for a Venetian Velvet offering sophisticated elegance in deep, rich shades like Ruby and Slate or our Supreme Printed Velvet, featuring vibrant digitally printed designs, on rich plush, medium weight velvet.

The Naturals Collection

Chatham Plain and Printed Linen

Our Chatham Plain Linen-Look Fabric combines the natural beauty of linen with the practicality of polyester, resulting in a high-quality, easy-care, 200 gsm material. Its regular raised weave will add texture to handmade lampshades, whilst it’s 80% cotton content ensures a crisp rolled edge finish. Available in six colours – a mix of neutrals and muted pastels – this plain fabric is sure to add simple elegance to your lampshade making.


Using high quality digital printing and a variety of colours, to depict flora, fauna, stripes, animals and fruits for the majority on a neutral linen-look background, our Chatham Printed Linen-Look Range offers the same cotton/ polyester ratio and is perfect for lampshade making, cushions, curtains and homewares projects.  





How to claim your discount

Shop any of our fabric ranges between 1st and 31st March, and the 10% discount will automatically be applied to your fabric at the checkout!



Lamination Option

For hard lampshade making, our Lamination Service is available to both individual lampshade makers and the lighting industry and we can laminate any of our fabric ranges to our Stick It® Lampshade PVC, making this ready to use in your project.

 

Simply select 'Lamination' option in the dropdown menu when buying your fabric and we will laminate this fabric to 300-micron thick White PVC. If you’d prefer a different Stick It® Lampshade PVC proudct, such as our Stick It® Metallics or Stick It® Clear, please contact info@dannells.com and we'll help you personalise your order.
