Elevating the look and feel of your handmade lampshades is easy and cost effective, with our Translucent Polypropylene and Foamex Die Cut diffusers, which spread light more evenly across a room or surface, helping to eliminate “hot spots” that can occur with direct lighting.

 

Easy to fit, all our diffusers simply flex and slot into the base of your lampshade to sit on the lower lampshade ring of your handmade pendant lampshade.

Anna Maria Slater of www.lavista.design is a professional lampshade maker and interior designer, who showcased this metallic Hack on our Lampshade Makers Facebook Group. By spray painting our 55cm Floral Diffuser gold, and combining this with our Gold Stick It ® Lampshade PVC, this beautiful silk stunning lampshade has become even more striking.


For a customer commission, Anna also created this matching fabric Die Cut Diffuser, which completely elevates the shade. We love the idea of creating a similar using this diffuser style at the base of a pedant shade, by adapting our DIY Fabric Diffuser Tutorial, to cut out the central circle using a craft knife.
